B.B.I.C. in more detail
History
Bible Basics International of Canada (B.B.I.C.) became official on May 24, 2008. With the encouragement and assistance of Dr. Eugene Priddy, founder and now President-Emeritus of Bible Basics International. Confident that God was leading. Four couples stepped out in faith to further the great commission by bringing “Bible Basics’ ministries to Canadians and Canadian to Bible Basics’ ministries.”
Present
As of January 2010 we have a Canadian board of seven, plus a project manager (professional engineer) to advise on and assist with projects out on the mission fields. He is currently involved is a project on the Island of Roatan Honduras. We have our first two short term missionaries in India’s New Delhi area. They are developing and presenting a “Mercy Ministry Program” which will provide training to Slum children qualifying them for the public school system. As of March 2010 they have 12 children in the program.
Future Plans
We are partnering with our international office on a Haiti Relief program and will be working with Double Harvest www.doubleharvest.org to help over 100 local pastors and congregations.
B.B.I.C.’s goal is to minister where there is opportunity and the Lord provides.
